Saw an interesting article today. It was about the possibility of T-Mobile coming to Canada. This would be exciting because it would create more competition within the Canadian Wireless Industry and specifically for the GSM carriers. If this would have happened sooner, we may have seen the iPhone in Canada already because it would have forced Rogers to have reasonable data rates. But if they do set up shop in Canada, expect more reasonable data rates in the future. Anyways check out the article, let me know what you think.

I also just set up my T-Mobile to go account so that I don't have to pay $1.70 a minute to fido for roaming in long distance in the USA. I now have the Seattle area code I wanted. If you don't want to pay such high roaming charges, check out my post on how to avoid them:
