More and more people have an iPhone

I was at the mall yesterday just to look around. What did I notice? More people with iPhones. I think the iPhone is the hottest gadget to have in Canada right now. Besides maybe Nintendo DS. I saw 4 people who had their iPhones out either texting or just playing around with them. I guess everyone likes to show them off. I've also started to notice people listening to music on their iPhones. You can tell they have an iPhone by the headphones with the little mic on the right side.

My sister in law just got an iPhone too. She lives in the states. She was thinking about unlocking it and just using it on T-Mobile to go prepaid service, but decided to go the legit route and activate it with AT&T. Their plan is pretty good compared to Canadian standards. For $59.99 a month you get 450 daytime minutes, 5000 evening and weekend minutes, unlimited data, and 200 texts.

So many people have iPhones now....at least it isn't like all the RAZR's out there. Once it is finally released in Canada, the iPhone may become the next RAZR since I'm sure even more people will get one and then you wont be able to go out for 10 minutes without seeing one.

So funny. You have a lot of Canadians who are becoming just like the Crackberry cowboys but instead are iPhone flashers.

I have had my iPhone since October and most of my friends and co-workers don't know I own one. And a few people think I am using an iTouch, when they glimpse the large screen (which is seldom on display).

Only once did someone look at me like I was crazy when I was talking on the phone using the earphones & mic. Because when people see the white earphones they assume ipod (one way listen device).

I think with the iPhone, it's not a device that should be flashed around. But owned and used with pride.

Thats true. I don't want the iPhone to get played out like the RAZR's out there. Thats true about crackberry users, they check their email as if they didn't just check it 10 times in their office. Kinda like leaving your house and making a call on your cell first thing.
